On 3rd August 2019, Smt. Vijayalakshmi Rao w/o. B.R. Achutha Rao, visited Industry section of Vanitha Sadana to display some of the handicrafts items made by her. In an 90 minutes programme. she exhibited some exquisite crochet items, knitted items,cotton quilts, fancy bead items, coasters, greeting cards etc.,. She also explained how such items are done and how wastage items could be knitted, stitched for reuse. An enthusiastic crowd of about 30 vanitha sadana members including teachers, staff attended the event. Some of them wanted to learn the art from Mrs. Rao. Some photos of the event are attached.
