The school celebrated 70th Republic Day on 26th on a grand scale. Sri Mohan Varnekar, well known Kannada literature and artist accompanied by his wife graced the occasion as Chief Guest. T he event started at 0830 hrs with Flag Hoisting by the Guest followed by singing of National Anthem / patriotic songs and march past by the students. Smt. Padma Anand introduced the Guest and Mr. Ravi gave a talk on contribution of Sir B. N. RAU, a Kannadiga, in drafting India's Constitution. CMCA through display of placards by the students explained the essence of our Constitution. Mr. Mohan advised students about their duties, discipline, sincerity, good behavior which will propel them to become good citizens. He also sang a song which was well received by the students. As a grand finale, the students entertained everyone with a fine display of drill and dance depicting MOTHER INDIA which received thunderous applause from the students and teachers. The event ended with distribution of sweets.
